In accordance with Chapter 197, Statutes of 2014, California Government Code section 8202 was amended to require the following disclaimer:
"A notary public completing the certificate verifies only the identity of the individual who is present and signs the document to which this certificate is attached, and not the truthfulness, accuracy, or validity of that document."
